The music pages are divided into two sections: Albums and Singles using a Javascript music player.
•The music player is written by myself using the p5.js Javascript library, and is in a working state. It lacks some functionality which I will try to add later on, such as a continue function, and service workers to control the music player outside the browser (good for mobile support). I'm sure I can optimize it more aswell. If you stumble across a bug, please contact me about it.
• The Albums section contains following subsections:
•Normdans and Simple HTML5-player
• The Singles section contains following subsections:
•Studio sound, Lo-Fi sound and Simple HTML5-player
•The Studio sound section contains music and sounds that are made with more modern Digital Audio Workstations (post y2k), such as Cubase, Caustic 3 and Madtracker 2.
•The Lo-Fi sound section contains music and sounds that are made with less modern Digital Audio Workstations (pre y2 such as Protracker (Amiga), Fasttracker II (MS-DOS) and MSSIAH (C64). MSSIAH is post y2k, but for an old hardware platform..
•The Simple HTML5 player section contains all my soundfiles (including albums) with the barebone HTML5-player to use within the browser. The files are also available for download.
This section is made for people who don't want to use the Javascript player or it doesn't work for some reason.
I have been making music since around 1989, when I was a little kiddo. I started with making music with my Amiga computer, then when getting older, I bought some synths and buildt a homestudio.
I've produced my music using various trackers and DAWs, and since smartphones started to be a thing around 2011, I found an application called Caustic.
Immediately I found that this quick and easy way to compose music and sketch basic productions, was a very fitting way for me to make music, since I could do it whenever I wanted to, and whereever I was, just requiring my phone and a couple of headphones.
